Venerables: The Rank Nine Collection

In the Gu world, a Gu Master who reaches rank nine is a Venerable: an Immortal Venerable on the righteous path, or a Demon Venerable on the demonic path. Only a handful have ever stood there (ch 383). This set gathers ten of them, from Remote Antiquity to Late Antiquity. The five Immortal Venerables are Primordial Origin, Star Constellation, Genesis Lotus, Giant Sun and Paradise Earth. The five Demon Venerables are Limitless, Reckless Savage, Red Lotus, Thieving Heaven and Spectral Soul. An eleventh secret card completes the set, and its subject stays hidden until the pack is opened.

Each portrait follows the novel's own descriptions. Reckless Savage has purple hair and flame-lit double pupils (ch 597). Spectral Soul's soul form has three heads and ink-dark arms (ch 1011). Gold accents and the seal 仙 mark the Immortal cards; silver accents and the seal 魔 mark the Demon cards. Each card carries its Venerable's Chinese name in a vertical cartouche and card text that paraphrases the novel, with chapter references. Every pack holds the complete set.
